I have been looking at both of these charm bracelets with hope of purchasing one. Any difference in the quality? I know Chamilia has a Disney line of charms which makes it tad bit more enticing than Pandora. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!:cheer2:

Not that I know anything at all about the quality of either company's product, but...DSIL works in a jewelry store that carries the Chamilia line. The reason they chose Chamilia was (and this is according to DSIL) all of their line is made in the US. Not sure if that would matter to you, just something some people might consider.

My bracelet is pandora, but I wear both brand of the charm. I don't see a big difference in the quality. I think they are very similar. And like PP said Chamilia has disney charms!!

I have 2 Chamilia bracelets and both Chamilia and Pandora charms. I think the quality is the same. I would buy the bracelet you can get the best deal on (I know sometimes you can get a free bracelet if you purchase x number of charms). The charms fit both, so pick and choose from the charms of both companies. Also, I think Chamilia has a much better selection of the glass beads, although they may be a tiny bit smaller. Have fun!

I wear pandora brand but I can say chamila is good quality I think its a matter of what you like. You should check out all 3 of the major brands in person and pick the style you like the most between pandora, chamia & troll beads. Either way you'll love your bracelet.

My bracelet and the majority of my charms are Pandora. I do have 2 Disney charms (hope to get more :)) I think both are the same quality.

I like Chamilia better than Pandora. Their bracelets are better - they don't have the raised areas where beads get stuck, like Pandora does. With a Pandora bracelet, you have to buy locks. I prefer my whole bracelet to be free-flowing, which you get with Chamilia and Troll beads. Chamilia has the Disney beads, which are wonderful. Troll beads are my favorite of the three brands. Chamilia is my second choice, and Pandora is last. FYI, I have 8 full troll bracelets, 1 full Chamilia Disney bracelet, and 1 full Pandora bracelet, so I do have lots of experience in this area! And I have spent way too much money in this area!

I have two nearly full Pandora bracelets.

I had a Chamilia base bracelet to start with and didn't like that it did not have the locks, so this is a matter of personal preference. Starting out, I think it is better to have a Pandora with the locks, because you can just put the few charms you start with in the center or a few in each section, so they are not sliding around all the time.

The charms are of similar quality and are compatible. I have a mix, but I tend to like Pandora's styles a little better (once again personal preference). However, I do have Eyeore and love him. I also love my Chamilia frog prince.

By the way, most Troll charms do not fit the Chamilia or Pandora bracelets (the holes are smaller), so you can put Chamila or Pandora on a Troll bracelet, but not the other way around.

I have a Pandora bracelet with a mixture of Pandora and Chamilia charms. I would say the quality is the same, but I think the Chamilia charms have more detail. I tend to buy/receive more of them. (And I love their Disney charms! )

I chose Chamilia because I liked their beads the best. I do not have any local shops that sell the Chamilia line though, but there are plenty of online retailers who sell them...along with free shipping and no sales tax. Most places around here sell Pandora only....but I didn't like their beads as much as I liked the Chamilia line.

You can buy lock beads for Chamilias, I received one for Christmas with 2 lock beads, and I love it. I don't have any experience with the Pandoras, so I can't help you there.

I started a WDW themed bracelet..has WDW and Florida related charms on it. Here's a picture.

The beads are interchangable, so check out the base bracelet or necklace. There is a significant difference in how they work, and whether you like one or the other better is really a matter of preference.

Chamilla is a U.S. company, but the charms aren't made here - I wouldn't let that be my decision factor. Pandora is based in Denmark. Pandora has better distribution and has been around longer (they are easier to find). I like the Chamilla bracelet better. The glass beads for Chamilla are about $5 more each.

I have a Pandora base bracelet with mostly Pandora and a couple of Chamilia beads. I like my Pandora bracelet, but I will tell you that I'm on my second because the latch snapped off of my other one after a year. The dealer that I bought it from said she had never heard of that happening. I'm pretty rough on jewelry, but I'm not *that* rough!

i have a chamilia bracelet and both chamilia and pandora beads. i think that the quality is about the same. i prefer some of the pandora beads (like the wood beads and the spacers), but i like that chamilia has the disney beads. i also prefer the chamilia glass beads, i feel like they offer way more on that end. pandora only has no more than 20 (but only have like 5 different styles in different colors).

i liked the free flowingness of the chamilia bracelet at first, but then it got difficult to deal with when i started getting more beads and i couldn't put the bracelet on because the beads would fall towards the hook. i eventually bought myself a cute locking bead and problem solved!

Is there anywhere online to buy either of these bracelets and charms? I think I would really love one!

my fiance bought my bracelet from a place called pandora jewelers. they're based in florida and he's had pretty good luck with them. he's since bought a few other beads for me from them as well.

You can buy them on-line at Jared! they have a good selection (Pandora)!
I have a Pandora bracelet with all Pandora charms (and love it), but would like to start a Chamilia next! I don't want to mix charms, but would like to have some Disney ones! :laughing:I was wondering where the best place to buy them at Disney???:rotfl:

My personal preference is the pandora bracelet. I have I think about 8 or so pandora beads and 4 of non pandora ones.
I do like the Disney beads that Chamilla makes though... I have the mickey head, Cindy's carriage, and I recently acquired Mrs. Pott's with chip and a blue glass bead w/ the black mickey icon repeated on it.
I think mostly it is personal preference, but I like the locking beads on the pandora and how the bracelet has 'sections'.
For those in the upper MD, upper DE, and outskirts of Philly area...there is an awesome Pandora store in the King of Prussia mall that I found no too long ago. They had EVERYTHING there. I tend to like to 'see' it w/ my own eyes before I buy. Internet pics aren't always what they seem to be...LOL

Good Luck... and If you go w/ a pandora, I HIGHLY recommend the upgraded clasp. has NEVER come undone on me. :goodvibes
