Pandora: The World of AVATAR Or Avatarland?

Do you think Disney should just go ahead and change the official name to Avatarland?

I think everybody is going to call it that anyway so they may as well!lol

I call it Pandora. A bunch of people I know also call it Pandora. In my opinion Avatarland doesn't sound right

"Avatarland" has been used as a pejorative from the time it was announced. It's Pandora. I was really pleased to not hear the word "Avatarland" for the past week during all the discussions.
It's also the case that the area isn't at all about the story line of original movie, it's about the world in which it's set.

I agree that just "Pandora" would be what majority refer to it as. Adding "The World of Avatar" helps separate it a little more from the Pandora jewelry stores they also have on property

Right now, it'still Avatarland to me. Maybe it will become Pandora at some point.

Pandora is much better than Avatarland. I'm sure James Cameron had some say in the name too.

Google Disney Pandora. Almost every entry on page one is about jewelry.
Google Image Disney Pandora. Pages and pages of jewelry.
I would so love if there were a Pandora jewelry store in the land of Pandora.
For many it will stay Avatarland because many have no idea the story so Pandora means nothing ... but jewelry, a line closely associated with Disney.
It will be a horse of many colors ...

Pandora is much better than Avatarland. I'm sure James Cameron had some say in the name too.

My original prediction was "Pandora: A Journey into James Cameron's Avatar", which we could abbreviate as "PAJIJCA". I wasn't too far off, though I figured that Cameron would want his name in the title. And I figured that Disney would want a ":" in the name, because they like that in some of their bigger attractions.
