Pandora and fastpassing

Hello!
I was wondering if anyone knew if Pandora fastpasses will be part of a tiered system. I'm tying to plan for my end of June fastpasses and deciding if I need to do two days at AK to take advantage of all the Pandora stuff or can do just one.

They are. DAK is now Tiered as Pandora rides are Tier 1 and you can only choose 1 and all other Rides and Shows (including rivers of light) are Tier 2 and you get 2 from that. So as of not you can only pre-book 1 of the Pandora rides per a day.

Theme Park Tourist is reporting that WDW is requiring users to book a Tier One (i.e. a Pandora attraction) in AK first, and only then can guests book FP+'s for other attractions.

...guests who are not interested in Pandora - The World of Avatar are now required to pick one of these attractions to experience from this new land before they can make FastPass+ reservations for anything else at the park. So, if all you want to do at Disney's Animal Kingdom is see The Festival of the Lion King and ride Dinosaur, you'll have to pick a "tier one" attraction first before you even get the option to select the attraction you actually want to experience.

Is this actually the case? How does this stack up against the experience of Disboarders actually booking AK FP+'s?

Can you actually make a Pandora fp yet? I believe I saw that you couldn't book them till later in April but maybe that changed.

Yes, just at my sixty day mark and made a fastpass for the new pandora rides(over two separate days). I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes you can, they are available. It states that it opens May 27 and you can choose them for any date starting then. I did not choose one and was able to choose three others not in Pandora.

We are saying off property so I can't make my fast passes until 30 days out. ( even though I have an annual pass). I am hoping there are still some passes left for Pandora.

If there aren't, just be there for rope drop and go straight there and you should be fine. You can go back when it gets dark if you want to see it in the evening but at least you can ride with little to no wait time. Good luck!

Our 60 day window opened today. Many times for the early parts of our trip were already unavailable. The last couple of days had full availability of course. But for now, 30 days is going to be dicey. Depending on your party size, maybe you can try getting FP for one at a time and trying to match up the windows within a few minutes of each other.
