Have any of you ever stayed at the Panama City Beach Holiday Inn Sunspree? We are taking our vacation on the beach this year and may do a day trip down to Orlando.

Anyway, I have just about decided on this one based on the information given on their website and what they offer. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Thanks,
Angie

I'd love some feedback on this too!

The "handle" is suppost to be so beautiful. But I don't know anyone who's actually stayed there!

Love info on hotels & what to "do"!

We've driven by it. It looked nice enough on the outside.

Let me know if you go and how you like it. We are looking for a place for a few nights there in November.

Panama City Beach lacks a lot of resorts but has many condos.

Right now we have reservations at the Watercolor Inn in Seagrove Beach. It's not too far from Panama City Beach.

I went to Panama City Beach twice this past summer. What time of the year are you going ? The Holiday Inn Sunspree was packed full of teenagers/ college-aged kids both times I was down there.. just something to think about.
The first time we stayed at a condo right next to Club La Vela...can't think of the name right now. The hotels/condos on this road (Thomas Drive) are quieter and more for families. On Front Beach, where we stayed on my second trip, it was mainly college kids and a lot louder. This was just my experience and it depends on what time of year you go!
There are tons of putt-putt places and good restaurants - Pineapple Willy's, Shuckums, Sharky's, Spinnakers and a ton more! Yum! If you have any questions feel free to ask!:teeth:

Yes, I agree, there are a lot of great restaurants.

Don't go to PCB without stopping at Pineapple Willy's!!! YUM!

Also, Joey's Pizza has awesome pasta and pizza-New York style.

We will be there the end of May through the first whole week of June. I was hoping that the spring break crowds would be gone by then. As long as they aren't loud and waking me up at night, I don't mind. They have a free kids club and lots of activities- that is the main reason I chose them.

Thanks for the food advice! yummy!

Angie

Florida schools will be out by then so you may run into it being very busy. It should be a lot of families vs. spring break kids.

Don't worry too much.
