If he is driving down he can stop in a Shoney's and pick up a book of coupons, they can usually be found in the foyers & include hotels & restaurants of local cities. He's coming at the beginning of tourist season in Panama City though & I'm assuming it's the beach that he's heading for. I don't know how many discounts will be available for that time of year.

Z96 is a local radio station. Every thursday they sell gift cards for half price to local restaurants. They sell then until they run out. It might be worth looking into. http://www.z96.com/home.shtml is the website.

Also, if you have a restaurant in mind, check their website, since they sometimes post online coupons. Capt. Anderson's is a good seafood restaurant, but usually no coupons that I know of. Cafe 30A (in Seagrove Beach, actually) is also good, but its more upscale than the usual PCB places. Schooners is another good location.

Does your brother have kids? They should do the pirate cruise if there are kids along. And Shipwreck Island Waterpark. The beach is gorgeous, of course, but there actually is some other stuff to do! Hope he has a great time.
