Panama city Beach- nearest airport

Coming from the northeast...which is the closest airport to Panama City Beach? Which airlines? Thanks

you can fly right into panama city beach I used to fly into atlanta from rhode island then get a smaller plane to panama city it used to be a small airport sort of like how green airport in rhode island used to be many years ago

Northwest flies into PCB with a connection in Memphis.

Fares are high to PCB. You can also fly into Fort Walton Beach or Pensacola and drive over to PCB.

The closest major airports (all about equidistant at ~ 250 miles) are Jacksonville, Atlanta, Tampa and New Orleans.

Your best bet for the most convenient flight schedule is probably to connect from ATL on Delta or Charlotte on USAir. Of the small airports in the area, Pensacola and Tallahassee have the most flights. The northern Gulf Coast is badly underserved in terms of air transport.

New Orleans and Atlanta are almost 300 miles away and Tampa is almost 400 miles.

The Panama City airport is actually located in Panama City, not Panama City Beach. Its still a small airport. I believe plans are still underway for relocating the airport to a spot near West Bay in a couple of years.

The airport code is PFN for the airport in Panama City. It is a small airport. I am flying Delta out of Washington-Dulles to Panama City, we have to change planes in Atlanta.
