has anyone used the private dinning room that seats 14 people? does it have windows for a view or is it in the back... My TA said that we can reserve the dinning room ahead of time for our cruise but it only seats 14 people, and we have 23 people, and we want to do the brunch so we can see the water during the day as we travel.... can anyone help me on this?

The large room is in the back. There are windows in that room but since we were there for dinner I'm not sure what the view is like (it was dark outside).

You can let them know when you make your brunch ressie that there are 23 of you and they will sit you at ajoining tables, so at least you can be near each other.

Palo's is on deck 10 aft and is a semi circle restaurant, therefore, it has a wonderful view. The large room is on the port side and could easily accomodate 14 people but I would plan well ahead for that as it seemed like the only place for large number of people and I'm not sure about 23 though.

Also, my opinion of the Palo's brunch is not that great (as far as food goes the atmosphere was fine.) I think it is overrated and wish we had done the dinner instead. 90% of the food served at Palo's brunch could be had at other restaurants at some point during the cruise. Service was par. We felt we had better service is the regular dining rooms. Once thing I notice is the server did everything whereas the dining rooms has assistants and even head servers, who would help if needed not at Palo's.

for the back room. Our group reserved it for a brunch (which explains one of my tag fairy tags).

For some reason is does tend to get warmer than the rest of Palo, so our servers pulled down the shades.

For 23 I would suggest talbles in the main area where you can all visit and chat.

We also have a large group going. The adults would like to spend one night at Palo's together. Is it possible to make those reservations BEfore the cruise or do we make those onboard the ship as well?
Thanks :earsgirl:

We were on our cruise recently, we tried to book the private room during lunch and were told that they we couldn't use it because of an air conditioning problem and that they hadn't been using it during brunches because it gets too hot in there. We got it for the evening though, and it's nice because you have a little privacy, especially if your group can be a little on the louder side! :rockband:
