Palomino Suites, LBV

Has anyone stayed at Palomino Suites in Lake Buena Vista lately? I have a friend that may stay there but we can't find to much feedback. Amy opinions?? Thanks!!!

I stayed there from 7th to 14th December last year and in September the year before. Both times were excellent. The rooms were very clean and I never heard a single sound from any other room or guest the whole time we were there. We paid $79 a night both times. Look for the Managers special on their web site.
They have a shuttle that goes to Disney at 07:50, 10:00 and 12:00 and comes back at 6pm 8pm and 10pm. We used the shuttle the whole time the first year and a couple fo times the second then got a car. You are very close to DTD, only $6 in a taxi. There are lots of restaurants within walking distant as Crossroads and supermarkets too.
There was plenty to eat for breakfast but not in the league of some other places such as Homewood Suites. Last year we stayed st Homewood Suites Universal for 7 nights straight after staying here and I have to say that we liked that even more. The rooms were fantastic as was the breakfast. Out of the 2, HWS was there better hotel but Palomino Suites is in a far better location. Hope that helps.
