Palm Crest Motel in St. Pete

Has anyone stayed at Palm Crest Resort Motel? We are on an extremely tight budget for this part of the trip so the price is right ($89/night, we'll be there 3 nights), Trip advisor has good to decent reviews, and all we are needing is a safe and clean place to sleep and shower, we plan on spending all the time on the beach.

I really can't help much with the motel, although we did see the outside in December. I just wanted to add that the beach in St. Pete is beautiful!! The beach was deserted when we were there, and we found tons of shells.(not the little ones, but nice size) We've been to many beaches, as far south as Barbados, and St. Pete is one of our new favorites. Have a great time.
