Palm Beach

Has anyone had any experience in trading into a Mariott in Palm Beach? Which resort did you get? Did you like it? How hard was it to get into?

Is it on the list now, I haven't seen it on one thus far. I trade Marriott to Marriott and got 3-10 July for next year using my lower Marriott week. Xmas to Easter will be impossible, the rest will be moderately easy assuming it's now on the list.

My parents bought into I think it was Ocean Palms. It was a brand new timeshare last year from what I understand. They would like us to go with them to Palm Beach next year the week after Thanksgiving. If we can't get in with them how easy do you think it would be for them to get into a DVC (separate unit of course) with us?

Ocean Palms is new Smyrna Beach I believe. It doesn't look new to me at their Interval International listing . I wonder it it's not the Marriott there. It's called Ocean Pointe and is still building. If they are members of II, it depends on what they actually own and what week they have to offer. It also depends on what unit size they want and when they want to go. Summer and holidays are almost impossible but not totally so other than Xmas and Easter which DVC does not deposit. Even if they get it, it could be just a month or 2 before the trip. Good luck.
