Pal Mickey

I will be taking my family to Disney World for Christmas for the first time and I am hearing about this Pal Mickey. Can anyone give me information on how much he is at Disney World and if he is worth buying? I see that I can purchase him on Ebay for under $50 but not sure if I should go ahead and purchase him now or wait and get him when we get to Florida. thanks

I purchased one on ebay for $29.99 and free shipping. It was the newest version and it came yesterday. My 7 DD has not put it down yet. She loves hearing the jokes and playing with it. I used a friend's last year at Disney and I loved the tips it gave me for characters and lines. I think in the parks they are $65 new.

We purchased Pal Mickey for my son (7 while on trip) and he LOVED him! We waited until we got there 'cause all of kids want GET SOMETHING when we first arrive! They had all picked out what they wanted before we even arrived just from looking at the Disney website!
Got Pal Mickey at Downtown Disney ($65) first night and bought a few outfits for him during the course of the trip....safari outfit at AK....pirate outfit at MK, etc.
I am always a little leary of buying stuff like that from auctions.... if something should go wrong it...you're stuck!
Ours is still going strong a year later (one battery renewal so far)!
