Pal Mickey & lanyard/bottle strap

I've heard of people getting lanyards or bottle straps to put around Mickey's neck to keep him safe. Looking at the various options I'm seeing several different types. I think the bottle straps that have the adjustable sliding loop is what I need to get but please correct me if I'm wrong. There are also lanyards that either have a metal loop (like a keyring) and metal clip or either a plastic clip and disney character at the end.

Which is best to protect Pal Mickey or another more valuable childs small stuffie (at least to the 18 mo). I swear if we lost his Do-do (doggie) we would have to just come home..I actually bought a spare and plan on bringing it!!

Our Pal Mickey is sitting in our luggage, ready for take-off this Friday. His lanyard is already around him. We use the kind with the adjustable loop on it. It worked great last summer and it has stayed on him here at home. Would also work for those 'lovies' that all our kids have!!!

I also used the water bottle strap for my Pal Mickey. Just looped it around his head and wore him on my shoulder. He seemed okay with it.

The other thing I thought of for the Do-do, would be something that would tether it to the stroller. You could probably do that with the strap, too.

We used the water bottle loop for Mickey. Worked great! We looped it through a stroller bar to secure it and made sure to never leave him unattended in the stroller (we had heard of the mousenappings )

I highly recommend using the bottle strap for your Pal Mickey. We used one on our trip and it worked great. I didn't put the strap around his neck (I couldn't hang him!!!! ), I put the strap around his waist, under his arms and he stayed put just fine. I'm really glad I used the strap. About half way through our trip, I looked down at Mickey and his clip was gone (I left it on so I wouldn't lose it and to keep him from hanging upside down - he seemed to like to do that).
