Pal Mickey is Here!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone. I am a merchandise cast member at Epcot, and I recently was told to play with PAL Mickey. I was told to get my self familiar with the doll. I decided that I would head over to the mexico and area and see what PAL Mickey does. I had a lot of fun with the doll. He tells you different things and he giggles and things. And yes its true u see more adults carrying it then kids. I think that who ever invented this is a genious. If you have the money to rent or buy it ...do it....its great

I purchased a Pal Mickey on Ebay, paying the same price you would pay in the parks with shipping added on. I wanted to get one to surprise my DH on the trip down to WDW in 10 days! I'm going to wrap it like a gift and give it to him in the car. I wanted to have it before we got there so I wouldn't have to waste time tracking him (Mickey, not DH) down at a resort where we weren't staying.

I called WDW Merchandising this past week and was told that you cannot purchase Pal Mickey through them, that he is available only at select resorts.

What resorts can you buy him at? Also, if I buy one this week to use while in WDW, will he still work when I bring him back in September and December? Does he need upgrading or anything?I don't want to buy one every tme we visit WDW.

They're selling a few of them on Ebay for about $60. Sounds like a good deal to me.

If you rent one and then decide to buy one, does the $8 go toward it and do you get a fresh new one in a box? Anyone know? Can't remember what I read earlier.

Here we go again. Just when you think there is nothing left in the parks and resorts you haven't already bought they come up with a new item. In Nov when you see a woman yelling at a 40+ year old man, and an 8 year old girl to play nice and to share Pal Mickey you know who that is

DH and I will be using one Saturday at Magic Kingdom. Of course we will buy one not rent. We are big kids. And always will be.

Regarding an update, a cast member told us when we come back to the parks in October/November, when we pass through the gate to a park, it will automatically upgrade him with any new stuff that may have opened, i.e., Mission Space.

i'll be buying my own pal mickey in august & wearing him clipped to my waistband! (ah - another opportunity to embarass my teenage son! LOL)
