So on May 7th I did the Paint the Night Reception.
For those that will be doing it here's my thoughts.
Get there early - not all seats are created equal. Some people had to look around a pole. I asked NOT to be sat next to a pole and I was rewarded with a PRIME seat - So much so that another guest actually stood behind me taking video/pictures the entire time.
Drinks - you are allowed 2 alcoholic drinks. If you like sweat drinks try the Sangria - it was really good! You are allowed as many non-alcholic drinks - I had water & tea on top of my Sangria
Bread - they bring you 3 pieces of bread per person. There is a herb, cheese & pretzel. The only one that was edible was the pretzel one. The bread would have been sooo much better if they just heated it up or served butter with it. The cheese bread could break your teeth it was so hard.
Charcuterie tray- grapes and the 2 of the cheeses were really good. The rest was either ok or close to inedible. I could only eat so many slimy mozzarella balls - which they seemed to have piled on the plate.
Conclusion - for $79 this is WAY overpriced. They really need to change/update/improve the food for me to think it was worth while.
