Disney Parks Blog: "New dining packages with reserved viewing for the new “Paint The Night” parade will be available beginning January 11, 2016, at Disneyland park."

Does this mean they will be available to BOOK beginning 1/11/16?? If so, what dates can they be booked for?

If this means you can enjoy this experience beginning 1/11/16, when can it be booked??

Perhaps I'm the only one who thinks this is incomplete info from Disney... Again... ;)

They have not yet announced when they'll start taking reservations for the Paint the Night packages. Further down in the Parks Blog original posting announcing the packages, it says:
Reservations for both “Paint The Night” parade dining packages will be available soon. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more details!

Ok thanks!! When they first posted it, my takeaway was that packages will begin 1/11/16, and stay tuned for booking date. I saw some people posting elsewhere today that this was BOOKING beginning 1/11/16 and started questioning myself! :-D

Just posted on Twitter by @disneyland (official account):

"Reservations for "Paint The Night" parade dining packages begin January 11, 2016! Details: https://t.co/iH09kFenxH https://t.co/YTplG1TEqX"

Doesn't this now sound like you can BOOK beginning 1/11/16, even though it just links back to the original DFB post saying reservations available soon?? :-/

Someone has asked on the Twitter post whether the packages start on 1/11 or if reservations open on 1/11 or both. Hopefully they'll answer and clear up the confusion.

oooh interesting! Does that mean they'll have reserve seating for the parade? I'd totally do that! In June, my bff sat on a bench for like, 6 hours for a good seat of the parade. I think she's insane :P

No one really knows much about the packages yet. The Parks Blog post that originally announced the packages only said "reserved viewing" so it's unknown if it'll be actual seating or standing or some combination thereof.

There have been a threads where fellow Dis'ers have been speculating about what it could mean.

I'm one of those nuts who'll book it without nary a detail! :-D

BUT... you do have to tell me clearly WHEN I can start booking and FOR WHAT DATES!!! It really is beginning to drive me crazy that Disney can't just release this basic info together at once.

The number of things we're expected to "Stay tuned to DPB!!" for is ridiculous, IMHO.

Seriously Figment...I don't know how you keep this all straight. You are AMAZING. Thanks for all your replies and guidance.

This pleases me.I hope it does well so I can book it for our next trip.

hmm, which location, main street or small world would be better to catch the fireworks after?

Main Street. We watched the fireworks from the small world area and while it was nice, there are trees in the way and you don't get to see all of the effects.

that makes sense. The more price meal would coincide with the better view
