I don't remember what brand it was, but I bought it at Michael's. I think I sprayed about 2 or 3 coats. We always have something written on it and wash it approx. every 2 weeks for the last 2 years and have not had to touch it up yet!!!

We used chalkboard paint for one wall of my sons bedroom. We had to use 2 coats and it still looks great. I have to admit that he/we drew on it and have not ever tried to wash it off, but the can said to use soap and water. We bought it at Lowe's.

I was in the process of redoing my kitchen when I found an old picture that I used to have hanging over my sofa.I painted the whole thing (frame, glass) with chalkboard paint. I hung it in my kitchen by the laundry room. We love it. It's a great way to use a picture that's not your style anymore.
That's a great idea to do in a child's room. I'm getting ready to paint my son's room. I may have to try it.
