Just added on 150 Vero Beach points a few hours ago. It couldn't have been easier.

They had the points in inventory and we should be getting our paperwork soon.

MIL retired and comes to visit us every year for about 3 weeks. It actually worked out better to buy more points so she can stay at the Disney resort every year than for her to rent a condo in the area.

Enjoy your points! What a nice gesture for your MIL.:goodvibes

What a great idea! When I saw your name and Vero points I was wondering "why" you were buying points. This makes perfect sense!

:thumbsup2 That's pretty genius! Will she stay in a studio during the week and with you on the weekends? Will 150 points really go that far?

I need a DVC in Texas!!

Congratulations on your new points! Will they all be for your m-i-l or will you use some too?

We will probably use some if she decides to change her visit one year.

I thought for sure the points were $101 but they were only $92 each and we got a $5 per point discount and we got 2006 points.

A great deal all the way around.

Wow how did you get the $5 pp discount if you don't mind me asking? I might be shopping for a Vero add-on soon and I assumed I'd go resale but in light of this info perhaps not.

Congrats on your addition!

Our guide mentioned the $5 per point discount and I said okay.:thumbsup2

He said it was an incentive they have going on right now so we jumped on it. We could have gone resale but it's better this way.

I would just give your guide a call. I thought for sure we would have to waitlist for points but they had them available right away.

I just checked the member website and our new contract already shows.

Good luck.:thumbsup2

That's why we bought some VB points last year too. We added on 100 in august and I figured with the $5 off and because I have a Dec use year we got 2005 points too, that it was better than going resale. Funny my guide told me that "incentive" was ending aug 31. I guess they extended it a little ;)
