Groin pain--where the leg bends between the thigh and pelvis/hip--and it HURTS!!!!!!

It is not pregnancy related. I have had this pain before--first originating in college and then resurfacing last year. I have no idea what causes it--but I wish it would go away!!! (It feels like a pinched nerve.)

Just my random complaint--I feel goofy walking with a hideous limp when it acts up and sometimes stopping dead in my tracks b/c if I move my leg I will have to scream.

Just a complaint--not soliticiting any medical advice. ;)

I can crack that area, and I would say to my mom "Hey, I can crack my groin" and she always told me that "Women don't have groins - only men" Ok.......

With everything relaxing in your pelvis area due to relaxin from pregnancy, Im sure its probably not helping. Try a hot water bottle.

Sounds like round ligament pain to me-very common with pregnancy around the 5 month mark--look it up and see if that symptoms are the same. It could also be just that, a nerve issue, the baby sitting on a nerve or compressing one. When I was pregnant with the twins one of the babies was doing something and I got to walk around with that pain for about 2 months.

well, you need to move that trapeze out of the bedroom for a few weeks till you heal!:lmao:

try RUM!!!

(it may not fix it, but it sure can make you feel better about it!!)

It could be that due to your body's release of relaxin (a hormone that causes the ligaments to "relax" so the baby can fit thru the birth canal), the place where your pubic bones meet (called the pubic symphosis) is "off, they could be overlapping. I'm surprised your chiropractor didn't think of this. There's a type of bodywork called myofascial release that could really help. PM me if you need help finding a practitioner in your area. This area can be adjusted, but the muscles need to be released first. I was a massage therapist for 15 years and worked on a LOT of pregnant women. It's a common complaint. It could have gone out of alignment in the past due to a fall, etc.

The prior times this has occurred, I wasn't pregnant. (The first time was about 4 years prior to having children).

I will see them next week, but I really doubt much can be done if it is the same issue that I have when I am not pregnant (Which is very much what it seems to be.)

I will mention it though.
