I've paid our reservation in full. Will I be able to get a partial refund on the Disney Visa card I used and pay with our Disney Visa Rewards?

You can move the charge from one credit card to another up to the end of the day you check out. We did this in July when our room charges went to the wrong credit card. Just tell them how much you want on the rewards card. :)

It sounds like you are talking about your room charges from your MB purchases, but the OP is talking about the actual charge for the resort stay that is paid in advance. I am not sure that you can have that moved after being paid in full, but I agree with you that if the OP is talking about MB charges to the room that those can be reversed and the rewards card applied.

I'm not sure if they'll allow that or not. Just be aware that any refund given on your Disney Visa card will also reduce your reward dollars by the corresponding amount (2% on Disney reservations, I believe).

Yes, my example was for additional charges made on our M's. But the example should apply to rewards cards, too, In fact there is really no reason why they can't call reservations right now and ask the changes to the payment method to be made now instead of waiting until check in.

I may be interpreting your response incorrectly but they aren't talking about changing the payment method for the resort stay. They want to have payments they made for the room reservation which is already paid in full refunded. They they want to pay in a different manner.

OP-I don't know if you can do this without creating a problem with the reservation if you are past the paid in full deadline date. Best bet is to call and see but I would be worried about a mistake being made and the reservation getting messed up.

You are interpreting my response correctly. :) I can see a problem if they used a travel agent. Then they couldn't do anything about changing the method of payment until they check in.

I'll be interested to see if someone can do what the original poster is hoping to do. :)

OP - This, so if you have transferred all your rewards points to your Rewards card, then no you will not be allowed to do this. Why can't you just use the rewards card for all your purchases during the trip?
