Paging missing DIS'ers (oh yeah, sound too)

Very nice Dan! We were talking about this at the Chicago Dis meet that you were going to start a thread like this. It is too bad that there has to be so much fighting between Disser's! We have to remember that we ALL share the love of everything Disney! It's so much fun to get together with Dis friends and talk about WDW, the Dis, and family! It renewed my Dis spirit as I think it did you too! We sure will miss Tricia at our Chicago meets but I'm sure she'll get a phone call or two at our meets!

I accept what people may choose in their lives.....but I hope they remember the people they have left with good memories of the good times. And I hope that if their good memories are strong enough, that they'll occasionally stop by and visit us.

Some stay away or lurk because that is what they want to do others stay away because they have no choice.

which ever the case I wish we could just go back to being the big Happy family we once were.

I often do not find the time to spend on the CB but I do try and stop by from time to time. Spend most of my time over on the RB and we would love all to visit and post there also.

Well, I took a little break for about a month because life was just getting so busy. The fall is always a bit crazy for us, with school and all it's activities back in full swing. I pretty much gave up the computer totally. I didn't visit any of my favorite haunts for a while.

Of course, as soon as it was possible, I came back, as I really missed all the fun on the DIS. It's a great place to get away from the housework for awhile and talk about all kinds of useful and useless stuff. Where else can I talk about liking beans or favorite song lyrics? Certainly my family doesn't want to delve into those subjects.

I'm happy to be back, and if I should disappear again, it's not because I'm bored or unhappy with the DIS, it's just that "real life" got in the way for awhile.

Boy, it really is nice to see some of these missing faces here. Glad to see you guys. And if any more are still out there lurking (I know there are lots of you, you guys pop in every once in awhile, LOL), please continue to at least lurk and jump in when you feel appropriate. We sure don't want to see you drift away. Again, nice to see some of those old familiar faces again.

Hi Dan!!!I don't know if any one missed me or not but I thought I would say hello! I am trying to keep afloat as a first year teacher, find precious time with my two teenage sons, keep a few minutes for my husband.......well you can quickly see that the DIS has fallen from my top ten list for the time being. BUT we have a cruise planned for next summer and Christmas break will be here before we know it. Then I'll be back to posting!!

Hi. It's been a while. Don't know if anyone noticed I was gone or not. Anyway, college has thrown more work at me than I know what to do with, which doesn't leave much time for DISing, and people here had started getting a little snippy with me when I stated my opinions so I decided to take a break.

I'll probably be posting more if/when I have another trip to plan... my mom and I have the one at the end of the month (!) all planned out, but I'm debating going back for Spring Break with my best friends if we can do it without breaking anyone's bank account.

Must go, my two final exams tomorrow are beckoning. Toodleoo.
