packing--weather wise

We leave for Disneyland TOMORROW!!! So excited and the accuweather forecast is showing pretty nice sunny weather. But, being from Canada, I suspect my version of warm weather might be different from those who actually live in southern California so...what do I need to pack clothing wise? Capri pants or shorts weather right now? Do we need long pants and socks? Do we need coats?

I would think summer clothes, with a few jackets and long pants just in case.

We live in Idaho, and when we went in November we were all in our summer clothes. All the cm's and locals were wearing winter coats.

It was at least 80 degrees at DL yesterday.

It is supposed to cool down a bit by the weekend, but we'll see.

I dressed DS in jeans and a t-shirt, and brought a hooded sweatshirt because it was cool in the morning (55), but it was still 65 when we left at 8.

We leave in just a few days and am SO happy to pack tshirts!0

As long as you don't have some cold front come through, you should be fine in capri's and shorts. If you have smaller kiddos, I highly recommend some microfleece sweatshirts or blankets for the nights as it is still pretty chilly after the sun goes down.

This just turned into my favorite thread of all time! Can you tell I'm excited for sunshine!

I live 15 min. from DL and it is HOT today--almost 85~ (told DBF what a wonderful day it would be to go to DL!)

It is supposed to cool off 10 degrees or so in the next couple of days--and the evenings do get cooler -- so definitely keep some jackets, etc. handy!

Oh my goodness this is the best news! I've been packing capris, but wasn't sure if I was being overly optimistic with shorts. A tank top? Yahoo! Sunshine here I come!
