Ok...we're almost all packed- 4 suitcases later (including one with "work clothes" for my conference), I still have the princess dresses to fit in! How do you usually pack them?

I ship the princess dresses - along with water spray/fans, hanging shoe bags and tinkerbelle gifts!

I just folded ours in half and put them on top of all of the other stuff in our bag. When we got there I hung them up. The FL humidity will take out any wrinkles! :sunny: We buy ours at the Disney store and take them. They are a lot better quality and half the money.

What I find works best when you have a bunch of costumes is to fold them as neatly as possible (sometimes putting a sheet of tissue paper inside the fold helps to keep the wrinkles out), and put them in a space bag. You would be surprised how many of them can fit in a medium-large space bag, and they do not weigh a lot. I take them out and poof them up when we get to the resort. They do not look perfect, but they are good enough for pictures at the character meals, and in the park (only if she wants to keep it on). I used to take the matching crowns, wands, and shoes, but now I take a pretty pair of white and pastel light up sandals for all the Princess and Tink gowns, Minnie shoes, and only two crowns. I pack these in bubble wrap in my carryon. Hey, I need to enjoy her costume time while she'll still wear them!

I put my DD's Cinderella & Jasmine costumes in zip lock bags and they traveled fine.

I'm so glad I looked on the forum today - some really good advice!
we leave in two weeks and I've got some of my DD 4 1/2 dresses washed and ready to take.
I usually zip lock/freezer bag the dresses, bags and shoes not very practical for lots of walking and they last about five minutes on - but great for character meals.

I have not attempted crowns/headdresses yet?!?!?!

We also buy our dresses in the Disney store they are about half the price over here in the UK, than at WDW.

So excited! :cheer2:

:hourglass 2 weeks and 2 hours until WDW 2006 trip.

My daughter's princess costumes are very wrinkled. How would you suggest getting the wrinkles out?
