Packing questions for airlines

With the new security guidlines for air travel...

can I bring my razor and cartridges, nail clippers, scissors?
Can I put all my toiletries down in my toiletry bag or do they all have to be in clear ziplocs? Can I bring my vitamins, motrin, etc?

That depends, you can put all of the above in your checked bags.

If your looking to carry them on the aircraft with you then you can bring your razor if it is a safety cartridge, nail clippers are ok and sissors are ok if they have less than a 4" blade.

Liquids in your carryon must be 3.4oz or less and fit into one quart size ziplock, one ziplock per passenger.

If you dont' really need things I just put them in my checked bag. I don't want to be bothered. I

We checked everything except our camera and my purse on our last trip. We didn't have any problems.

I have always taken motrin/vitamins, and never had a problem. The way I understand it is the only restriction is on liquids/gels. Like noted above you can always put in checked, and not worry about it.

Thanks for the link! It answered everything I needed. I CAN pack up my water bottles in a checked bag, had a great deal on bottled water for the park and don't want to waste time finding a grocery store. I was reading some of those items that are forbidden period! Cattle prode? Meat cleaver! My gosh are these even a possiblilty that people have tried to carry them on???

That list was great! I am planning on carrying on purse, the kids with their little travel bags with their toys and coloring books, snacks, and the camera/dvd player and will have them hand check those....we have a 5 hour flight!

I am so excited! I am starting the packing tomorrow..30 days to go!
