...but definitely wished you had. ::yes::

I'm leaving in just under two weeks for ASMovies. I am an obsessive planner and packer. I'm not even completely packed yet, but I'm already worried I'll forget something.

If you guys could help me with the one important item you wish you would have remembered ( ) when you went, that will help a lot!

:sunny: kclyn

I forgot to pack my Excedrin! Ughhhhh! :sad1: Trekk'n all over to find some didn't help. I TOO am a compulsive planner myself...couldn't believe I forgot it.

I’m leaving in 24 hours and I’m not even packed yet :teeth:

lets see...

Rain ponchos, gloves, extra batteries, memory cards, film, battery chargers,
Flight information, ADR confirmation numbers, hotel reservation #'s, extra shoes, bathing suit, pin lanyards, autograph books, penny press books, sun glasses, fannypacks/backpacks, mickey hats/ears from last trip, light up toys so you dont have to buy them again or pay triple,

.. I will still think of things we've forgotten....

...camera's, video camera ( charge them up, along with all rechargeable batteries before you go ), dont forget to clear up your memory card if you need to....

Favorite sleep toy or blanket for the kids

Ok it's not so much what I forgot to bring, but I forgot to cut my moleskins ! I was prepared with a package of moleskins, but they were HUGE and needed cutting down to fit my ankle and NOBODY had scissors to cut them  so my best advice, cut before you leave home ;)

Oh my gosh! :scared1: I can't even imagine that! I would be going nuts if I didn't have my entire suitcase, carry-on, and purse packed at least 72 hours in advance. I think I'm behind now because I've just started to load my suitcase! :scared:

I had a "DUH" moment last February. I had ordered the Disney Dining Experience card when they made it available for AP holders. They were sooooo busy that they were having to send out Faxes giving authorization. Guess what I left at home when I cleaned out my wallet? Rosa at DDE was so sweet, she faxed another copy to the Beach Club for me. Guess what? It was the wrong person. Another call to Rosa (who was luckily for me, working late) corrected the matter. DH won't let me live that one down. His big "have to have items" are pillows and an eggcrate for the mattress. We're all miserable if he forgets it.

Tylenol PM. I would never be able to sleep if I didn't have my little helper!

OMG! I haven't forgotten anything. How could I when I start packing 100 days out? :rotfl2: However, I wish I would have brought more film for my camera...yes, I still use 35mm.:teeth:. And more memory for my digital.

ETA: It's almost time for me to start gathering things for our trip. Only 110 days until we leave!

Some good items! I would agree:
Rain ponchos, extra batteries, battery chargers, Flight information, ADR confirmation numbers, hotel reservation #'s, extra pair of comfy shoes/family member, bathing suit, pin lanyards, sun glasses, light up toys so you dont have to buy them again or pay triple! LOL Don't forget HATS too!! I find them more helpful than sunglasses as sun glasses have to come on/off for attractions and are easily lost (it seems) for my family. :confused3

My MUST haves w/ me in the park include: tylenol, tums (actually i prefer Titralac antacid), lip balm, eye drops, a few bandaids, neosporin and cut to fit moleskin. I usually carry a few granola bars for the group and a couple of juice boxes for having quick relief when lines are too long. Actually I carry small Sunny D containers as they can be refilled w/ juice or carbonated beverages and can be resealed vs. juice boxes that once open, must be finished. SUNTAN Lotion!!!

bring plenty of socks...happy feet make for happy touring!

For the room: A nightlight! It's great to have in the bathroom area so you can find your way in the middle of the night in a strange place. I bring the very soft green glow ones so not too much light is shed. We also bring snacky food to have b'fast in our room...and snacks at night. Love those refillable mugs!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure there's more...but these are my first pass at must haves :goodvibes

I got to MK the first day of our 2004 trip and my middle DD was picked to ride Goofy's Barnstormer with Goofy. I had left my memory card at home in the computer. I almost cried! Luckily, I did get it on video though. It is a memory I will never forget.

That we don't need all that stuff on the plane. Just carry what you need for the actual day and put everything else under the plane. My stroller bag and my stroller was broken. Download all your pics to a CD or laptop evry night and have them hand check your camera equipment both ways even if they make you feel like an idiot asking. bring an extra bathing suit and an empty suitcase for all the things you bring back, no matter what you do....even if you buy very little......your stuff you got down there will not fit back into those same suitcase again no matter how hard you try.

We leave in about 2 weeks (check the sig), and I haven't done a thing!! I guess I need to start thinking about it... ::yes::

I did forget to bring the correct lanyard and pins - but at least I didn't have to fret over the decision to trade or not, I left the favorites at home!

One thing I DID bring and was so glad to have it was a flat pack of multi-purpose cleaning wipes. The room was clean but since we were staying a week it just made me happy to be able to wipe down the surfaces in the bathroom if I felt like it. And to wipe the smudgies off the sliding glass door
that were down at 3 year old height - the staff couldn't see them unless they opened the sheer drapes. And I like to wipe dusties out of the drawers before I put clothes or bags in. Oh my, I sound like some kind of neurotic, but I really enjoyed having a wet cleaning wipe when I wanted one!

I also always travel with blunt end scissors and a roll of tape. I've started bringing a flat pak of duct tape as well - not a huge roll, but a fat pack I bought at a specialty travel store. Good for reclosing kid toy boxes so the bits n pieces don't spill all over.

Enjoy your packing!

I always bring pin backings that I buy at Michael's Crafts.
A cast member once told me to buy my own because the black Mickey ones tend to not hold onto the heavy pins so well. And sure enough, on that day, DD11 lost a pin when it fell off at Epcot. We heard it fall & hit the ground...I don't think we found it.

DH's cell phone charger! OY! Was he grumpy when he realized he'd left it at home...oh wait, he's almost always grumpy! :)
