Packing for Easter week?

I have seen the extended forecast for S CA and saw that the highs are expected in the mid 60's. Here in the midwest, the high today is 40 What should we expect and pack for to go to the parks that week? I am so desperate to wear shorts, I may just brave the brisk mornings! Any suggestions? Shorts, jeans, capri's? Short sleeves and jackets?

I would recommend wearing pants - the mornings can be pretty chilly, and if it's overcast or windy - you'll be miserable! Also - this is still rainy season for California - bring ponchos! It'll be beautiful in the afternoons - probably t-shirts with light jackets you can take off. You could wear capris - but pack the shorts and don't be disappointed if you can't wear them. It can get downright hot there in the spring with little warning - you never know! Have fun!
