I have never gone to Disney in December. I will be there from the 19th-26th. Any suggestions on what kind of clothes to bring??:confused3 We are staying in a 1 bdrm at VWL so I will be able to do laundry and won't have to bring a whole lot of clothing.

We are always big fans of layering.............so long sleeve t-shirts........polos for the boys that can go over the t shirt if necessary or without the t-shirt depending on weather.

It gets sort of chilly at night in December so I'd recommend having a pair of jeans if you plan on being out at night.......even if you're from the north.

A sweatshirt or a fleece jacket for nights. Although it's not cold it does get chilly and you'll be outside a lot of hours each night. Some nights you might even need light gloves. It's been in the low 50's all month at night. That sounds warm but at night with a breeze can be pretty cold (the humidity always makes it feel colder too).

At the most I'd bring only one pair of shorts/capris, at 2 pairs of jeans/pants and all the tops/shirts made for layering like WeLoveAriel0505 says.

I hate to burst the "chilly" bubble, but it can get down right cold at WDW in Dec. One year it got down to 28.

We always check the forecasts and pack for that and then some. I have packed and used long underwear, gloves, hat, and scarf!

I am going to be there too 12/20-26... I have been watching the 10 day forecast on weather.com and it is going to be unseasonably cold for Florida... Highs in the high 50's to low 60's and lows are 40-50...christmas day is the warmest at 70 with showers....I am packing mostly warm stuff to be comfy as we enjoy the parks- so much different than the 100 degree days from the August trips we used to take! AND still warmer than home....

Here is the link to follow the 10day:

We just got back from 5 nights. It was in the 50's some days, mid-80's others. I'd suggest sweat shirts, fleece, jackets, t-shirts, shorts, etc. I took a small backpack and had warm clothing in it for the cooler evenings.

IMO, it really depends on where you're from and what kind of weather you're used to.

We went the first week of December last year... had people mention to me that it's gonna feel colder than it really is cause of the humidity, etc, etc.. but being from Ohio, I guess I'm used to (at times) extremely cold, high humidity weather... I did pack sweatshirts, and a light winter coat.. but for most of our time down there, we were all in jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirts.. couple days in shorts. Did wear my coat each evening, but in all honesty, probably didn't really need it. Think the coldest it got while we were there was low 30's one evening, and that's the only time I felt like I really needed my coat. Never needed gloves/hat, never felt like we needed them.

I am cracking up at the 50's and 60's sounding warm!:lmao: That is freezing to me (I know I'm a wimpy Californian)!:beach:
