Whew! Good thing the kids slept in this morning! I was able to catch up. I got home last night from my California weekend. I will eventually get some pics uploaded. We had a great trip! It was soooooo nice to get a Disney fix! I will probably do a mini TR within my TR, I'll let you know when I do (today I hope). You have all been doing some amazing stuff while I was gone! I finished Luke's "Carla's bowling shirt" just before I left so here are some pictures I have of it. I wish I'd taken photos of it not being modeled also. I have no idea where it is now as DH decided to do laundry while I was gone He recruited his sister to help while she was babysitting yesterday and I had some brand new Mickey polos hiding in my laundry room for our October trip--still wrapped in plastic, in their shipping bag. They got washed and the solid color ones shrunk SO MUCH that the size L shirt I bought DS9 is too small for DS5 and DS5's shirt MIGHT fit Lily I wish DH would not try to "help". Actually, he was trying to prove that he can run the house much better than I can, but that's another story.

What a cutie pie he is!! Love the shirt. And woohoo for helpers (is there an eye rolling smilie?)

Ok ladies and gentlemen, I am very happy with the way that this dress came out. I love the colors. Jenna feels like a complete princess wearing this dress. I am having a hard time getting it off of her right now.

I just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for Rylie! She is alot better today, she has kept down some crackers and some bananas, and I think just having some food on her stomach has made her feel soooo much better! I appreciate EVERYONE'S advice and prayers and good thoughts! You guys are the BEST!!!!!!!!

SORRY! I guess I never gave that much info! She is having severe diarreah and vomiting! I know, gross, but those are the only symptoms she has! She hasn't been able to keep anything down. She just feels really bad and I have been unable to even put her down for the past 2 days! If she is not being held she just cries and cries! It is sooo sad! My dh just got home with some crackers and we gave her some of those, so we will see how she does! I am praying that she keeps those in! She is STARVING!

Have they tested her for RSV? My 7 yr. old dd had this when she was a year old. Same symptoms and after a week, they did test her and she ended up in the hospital for awhile. Once she got the right med, she improved quickly. Watch for signs of dehydration and don't hesitate to take her to the ER. You know your daughter!

They were so excited that I made something for THEM (I'm such a good Mom, everything I make is for the girls....bad Mom....bad Mom....) and they LOVE seeing everyone's kids, so, the minute these were finished and they had them on, they grabbed the camera and took me outside!
ANYWAY! These are for them!

im alive. I mad it. Had to stay an extra day and night at the hospital. I feel icky and have not checked out al the new creations. Im tired, dizzy, and in a lot of pain. I have 56 staples from a inch above my belly button down tto my va jay jay. Just wanted to say hi.

Get lots of rest. That's a lot of staples, I hope you heal quickly.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! I talked with the pediatrician today and basically there is nothing they can do for her because of her age! They said as long as she is staying hydrated there is nothing else they can do for her! So I am just making sure she is drinking lots and lots and enduring her pitiful cries for food! She is soo pitiful! I really hope this ends soon, because one week is ENOUGH!

I am glad to hear that she is improving. If she has a set back get the DR to test her Stool for Shegala. My kids had that. It is a bacterial infection in the intestines and they need Antibiotics to get rid of it.

Ok, I take it back. I am definitely not getting better. Trying to decide whether to go to the docs tomorrow. I am pretty positive it is strep. blisters in my throat and raging headaches fit the bill. UGH!!!! B's CD release party is thurs. I really have to get better...

Get thee to the Doctor. You need anitbiotics if it is Strep!

Yipes, i've fallen way behind! Been jobhunting like a madwoman and printing out masses of resumes, cover letters and address labels. Trying to do a bunch of eBay listing too I just got a call today for an interview too so I hope that goes well, even if I don't get the job i'll appreciate the interview experience as it's been a while since I went to one!

What a beautiful dress, pink and black is one of my favourite combos and the ribbon's shade of pink is really lovely

to your DD, I hope she continues to feel better. I always feel so helpless when the daycare babies are sick so I can only imagine how worrying it is for a parent.

DD informed me last week after seeing some of the PPP outfits that have been posted that she wanted to be a "pirate princess" for haloween. I found this skull fabric and thought it was too perfect so i went ahead and made this:

I have no advice *** I think it looks adorable as it is but I just wondered what brand the skull fabric is? I love it!

Another CarlaC tester here! The pattern was (as one would expect from a pattern of hers!) clear and easy to follow. Everything came together perfectly. I love how it is lined, so no rough seams on the inside. I feel like a professional seamstress with this one.

A Hawaiian-inspired bowling shirt--perfect for 'Ohana maybe? I think at the very least, we need to go to the Poly and take pictures with this. I have to make DD a matching a-line now...

This is just ASKING to worn to the Poly, awesome!

Oh no! The summer has now begun! I can hear them downstairs now fighting over something...possilby who will be the first to push Mommy over the edge this year! No really...I am exctied about this summer! We have so much planned...But first we have to make it to Disney.


for just a minute and a slight rant. Now we take care of my FIL because let's face it the rest of the family....well...they are mean! I really have a hard time blaming them sometimes, because he IS difficult. Well, I think I discovered today that he is jealous we are going to WDW and putting him in respite care (that we are paying well over $1000! to do). So, he is trying to act all sad in front of the kids. Taking him is not an option because of his health. I am really mad at him! I NEED this vacation and will NOT feel guilty about this...I won't! Please tell me I won't! EEEEEEERRRRRRR!!! My DH deserves this time, we all deserve this time. My DH even pointed out to me today that he thinks that he is doing this to make us feel bad...but he said there is no way we can change the way things are. I mean there is a lot of family that could take care of him and NONE of them will take time out of their lives to do anything for him.

The sunflowers and polka dots is my favorite one I have done so far. I just finished cutting out some Princess fabric for short set.

I need some help from posters in the Atlanta area. I really want some Minnie Dot fabric, but I cannot find it anywhere!! I have looked in Gainseville, Hobby Lobby and Alpharetta - JoAnn's. It is not at any Walmart I have been to either. Anybody found it in this area?

I haven't seen any with the big dots since Wal-Mart put out their Halloween fabrics last year--I got a bunch from Wal-Mart then.

The HL near me has smaller red and white dot (between dime and pencil eraser) on their calico wall.

I'd probably just order some, especially with the price of gas right now!

I am so jealous of those who are finding the clearance fabric at their wal mart, and it was so sweet of someone to offer to pick up the teal mickey heads for someone else!

And I am usually the first person to roll my eyes when someone says they 'deserve' a vacation, because before this thread I was always on the budget board and it is often 'I deserve this vacation even though I am in debt up to my eyeballs.' But, if you are caring for an elderly relative when no one else will, then yes, you truly do deserve a vacation. Enjoy every minute!

Oh, and 2cutekidz, I would definately buy that on ebay if I had a little girl!
