I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! I talked with the pediatrician today and basically there is nothing they can do for her because of her age!:( They said as long as she is staying hydrated there is nothing else they can do for her! So I am just making sure she is drinking lots and lots and enduring her pitiful cries for food!:worried: :( She is soo pitiful! I really hope this ends soon, because one week is ENOUGH!

What does she have that she can't eat? I'm just curious. It sounds really serious.

SORRY! I guess I never gave that much info! She is having severe diarreah and vomiting! I know, gross, but those are the only symptoms she has! She hasn't been able to keep anything down. She just feels really bad and I have been unable to even put her down for the past 2 days! If she is not being held she just cries and cries! It is sooo sad! My dh just got home with some crackers and we gave her some of those, so we will see how she does! I am praying that she keeps those in! She is STARVING!:worried:

I finished another dress for Jenna, but something happened and the dress ended up covered in ants.

Yes I am aware that her shirt is buttoned wrong, but she won't let me fix it. She says she likes it that way.

Oh this is so cute!!!

Hi - this is my first attempt at the round neck style - do you think it looks finished, or does it need something????

This is a 2, and hannah is a 2 - do you think the armholes will be okay? they look kinda big....

This is adorable!!

That has happened to me before. It was the worst week of my life. I know how the poor dear feels. Have you tried giving her a liquid diet for a day or two and then slowly adding solids? That might help her hunger.

Well, she hasn't actually eaten anything in a couple of days! But she hasn't wanted anything, so it has been okay! Today, she has been crying for food all day and they told me not to feed her anything! However, around lunch time, I couldn't stand it anymore and gave her some applesauce! Let's just say that didn't stay down for long! But my husband brought some crackers home just a while ago and she has actually kept those down for a little while now, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!:goodvibes

 hugs to her:hug: I hope she gets better soon. hugs to you too:hug: I know that you are suffering just as much as she is.

Ok ladies and gentlemen, I am very happy with the way that this dress came out. I love the colors. Jenna feels like a complete princess wearing this dress. I am having a hard time getting it off of her right now.

This post can be labeled as too many Jennas (thanks jham!!)

Sorry there are so many of them. Like I said I really love this dress. I am debating letting her wear this to my cousin's baby shower next saturday. What do you guys think is it too much for a baby shower?

OH MY!! That is just gorgeous! Jenna is a super cute too. How long did it take? I am in love with it. I really love black and pink together. That is the ultimate princess dress. I would let her wear it wherever she wanted!!

It took me a couple of hours, but I was watching movies while doing it. It probably wouldn't have taken as long as it did if I wasn't watching tv.

Awww  I know how scary that is! Louie went through the exact same thing about a month ago. He threw up for about 10 hours straight, and I freaked out and took him to the ER. As soon as we got to the ER, he decided to be well again - didn't throw up at all in the 4 hours we were there. They gave him an anti-nausea pill, fed him a popsicle, and sent us home. We just got the bill for the $150 copay :scared1: .

Fingers crossed that she will keep down the crackers and is on the mend! She will be back to her happy self in a few days, I'm sure. It is so hard to see them sick, I know!

I was wondering what pattern you used? This is just stunning. I love pink and black together.

Well..I got one of the two girls off to school this morning...Alexis's Pre K won't be starting for another week. They postponed the start date to get the school ready. Ireland is off to camp without a hitch...
One question for everyone...I'm not comfortable sending her to the "water places" because she's a non-swimmer....should I just bite the bullet and send her anyway, and hope they watch her, or should I just keep her home on those days. They say they will be taking a swim test but Ireland can fool you. She can swim the length of the pool, but the minute she's tired she doesn't head for the wall, she just goes under and doesn't call for help...:scared1: I'm worried about her going to places like Wet N Wild, and going down the big water slides and not being able to swim at the bottom...What would you all do? Ireland does have a floatie vest that she loves and I'm comfortable with her swimming anywhere in that, but they aren't allowed at the water parks with her group...:(

I would not send her unless you could come too.

I would recognize those little faces anywhere! That is so cute and I love the friends on the bus!

Stephres,

:moped: (Running over to -    :moped: (running back up I-4):rotfl:

Thanks! :)

So sweet! I don't think it needs the pants either. Cute!

Wow, you have been busy. I need to try that pattern, so cute!

Just wanted to jump on quickly and ask for some prayers for my little Rylie! She has been sick since Wed. and is getting worse! :scared1: I have a call in to her pediatrician, so I am waiting to hear back! If you guys don't mind sending some prayers and good thoughts our way! Thanks!Mindy

I'm so sorry she is still sick and you can't do anything. Will she drink pedialyte?

They are all cute but this one makes me laugh. Your daughter is just adorable and I love the kitties.

This is adorable: you are going to have so much fun!

im alive. I mad it. Had to stay an extra day and night at the hospital. I feel icky and have not checked out al the new creations. Im tired, dizzy, and in a lot of pain. I have 56 staples from a inch above my belly button down tto my va jay jay. Just wanted to say hi.

Get lots of rest and I hope you feel better soon.

There can never be too many Jennas. I couldn't reduce this because that dress looks like a work of art! I want one for me to twirl around in! Definetely let her wear it to the shower.

Cute ants! Jenna's friend reminds me of Megan, lol.

I have never tried this one, but I think it looks perfect. Love the fabric!

:offtopic: Vent ahead!
I am not exactly sure why, but parents at my daughter's school were NOT invited to the end-of-the-year award ceremony. I showed up with my camera today (after a teacher told me parents were invited) and they sent me packing! Can you believe it? I am really sad cause my DD10 worked really hard all year for straight A's so she could get this award. Interestingly enough, parents were invited right after to an "accelerated reader" award program. I just don't get it. :confused3

That stinks! Jacob's teacher invited us to an ice cream party and awards and they had finished the ice cream by the time we arrived. I bought sundae syrup and everything! At least I got to see the awards: she gave one special one from her to every kids in the class. :lovestruc

I think it looks great. I am not sure about the fit (as I have boys and they get a little angry when I make them try on girl stuff- shhhh)

You can probably give her a BRAT diet - bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. If she keeps it down for a day or so, you can add more bland things. I am sorry she feels so bad. Sickly little ones are sooo sad.

It took me a couple of hours, but I was watching movies while doing it. It probably wouldn't have taken as long as it did if I wasn't watching tv.

You are much faster than I am. It takes me FOREVER. You should be VERY proud of both of those outfits. They are FAB!

Ahhh, I learned to multi-quote!! Woohoo!! I was afraid that it would be too hard for me to learn, so I never bothered. I am not exactly computer saavy, even though I am a chemical engineer irl. I finally read the tutorial on the first page. It was so easy. So for anyone that says they don't know how, just take a minute. I swear it is painless!!!

Thank you! I have done that before, the ER thing, and I swear, just walking in that place seems to magically heal them!

Thank you, and she will notdrink that stuff! She HATES it!

So sorry she is feeling rotten!!! Just out of curiousity, did they test her for rotovirus?? This sounds just like the symtoms we had with it. It stimks, but even for older kids there is little to do but let it run its course. The fennergin helped a little, but not all that much.

I was wondering what pattern you used? This is just stunning. I love pink and black together.
I did not use a pattern for the pink and black dress. I just measured her and made the rest up as I went along. I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like. When I saw the fabric at Hancock Fabrics I decided that I had to have it and then I came up with the dress.

Ok, I take it back. I am definitely not getting better. Trying to decide whether to go to the docs tomorrow. I am pretty positive it is strep. blisters in my throat and raging headaches fit the bill. UGH!!!! B's CD release party is thurs. I really have to get better...

Have you been to the doctor yet? You need antibiotics! You can't ignore strep, it will turn into something worse. I really mean it; go to the doctor tomorrow! I yell at you because I love you. ::yes::
