You can come here and teach Jenna how to swim. She sorta let me teach her while we were in FL. She has a fear of water and boats. You should have seen the fear in her eyes when she found out Peter Pan was a "boat" ride. She had to ask the CM at the beginning of the line what the ride was all about before she would even get in line.That's a tough one. Do the parks have life vests they allow? If so, I'd talk with the camp director AND Ireland. Make it clear that she MUST wear a vest at all times if she wants even one toe in the water. If life vests are not an option to get from the park, I'd keep her home on those days...maybe put her in swim lessons on days she's home? I passionately believe that every child needs to know how to swim WELL and not depend on floaties or life vests. Those things can slip off, buckles or not. They give people a false sense of security. It would be good for Miss Ireland to do swim lessons. I wish I lived in Florida! I was a life guard all through college and I taught three "Polliwog" classes a week! All my kids passed on to "Minnows"!!! I'd teach both girls to swim in no time flat!
Another CarlaC tester here! The pattern was (as one would expect from a pattern of hers!) clear and easy to follow. Everything came together perfectly. I love how it is lined, so no rough seams on the inside. I feel like a professional seamstress with this one.

I am just sick today- my brothers friends went out in a paddle boat on friday night and the boat tipped over and one of the friends is now missing. They think he probably drowned. But have not been able to find him. The friend didn't tell anyone til the next day- thought he had swam to the other side as they had been talking in the water after the boat flipped. The boys are all 18 and My heart is just broken for all of them!! Of course they were not wearing life jackets, it was not their boat and they may been drinking. So So So sad!!! Please keep them in your prayers.

I finished this dress yesterday. This was the dress I started from the 80's pattern. I gave up trying to do it their way and did it MY way LOL.

Tomorrow is a big day at our house....
Alexis is beginning pre K...it's a 10 hour day, and I'm worried about her. I feel like it's much too long for that age, but that's what I get for putting her in the summer program. Also Ireland is going to summer camp for the first time. It's a day camp, and it's also for 10 hours a day. She will be going to Universal, some local springs, Wet N Wild, bowling, movies, ice skating...etc...she will have a blast...but poor Lexie...I made her a new outfit for the occasion, but I want to cry every time I look at it...
Because it takes so long for my computer to upload...we will be doing these a few at a time!
We will be eating at Chef Mickey's.

I wouldn't let her go.One question for everyone...I'm not comfortable sending her to the "water places" because she's a non-swimmer....should I just bite the bullet and send her anyway, and hope they watch her, or should I just keep her home on those days. They say they will be taking a swim test but Ireland can fool you. She can swim the length of the pool, but the minute she's tired she doesn't head for the wall, she just goes under and doesn't call for help...

Prayers for Rylie! Hope she's feeling better soon!!!Just wanted to jump on quickly and ask for some prayers for my little Rylie! She has been sick since Wed. and is getting worse!
Busy week! I didn't see sleep on your schedule for this week.My week:
Today: Sew like a mad woman and get all laundry done. Make baskets for teachers!
Tuesday: Last day of school for kids - have to be there for awards and such.
Wednesday: Do all of my Father in law's laundry, lable and pack for him. Start my clothes packing, last trip to grocery store.
Thursday: DH has to handle a complaint for work (on his day off!) Go to nursing home to finish paperwork for FIL. Fininsh packing. Take FIL to doctor...ask him for meds list for the 5th time
Friday: Take dog to kennel, FIL to nursing home (TV, Oxygen, luggage, me and three kids!...will never happen...he will get caught up in some drama I am sure!!!
We plan on driving half way on Friday then the rest on Saturday and staying offsite and maybe go to DTD Saturday night with the kids.
So...the short of it...that ticker thing lies!!!! I should have put in the date I am leaving...then I wouldn't be like this now
As I am packing the outfits in ziplocs I am taking pictures, I'll post later.

If you already paid and she has taken way longer than she said she would than I wouldn't have any problems sending her a thousand emails until you get a response from her. Don't wait too long though because Paypal has a time limit for filing the item not received dispute.Aww love the CM outfits!
Hey for those of you that buy and sell on "other places". I bought 2 customs from a lady they were supposed to be ready and shipped a week ago Friday. I emailed her to be sure they were shipped and she was taking longer than expected no biggie. Well she said they woudl be out Tues or Wed. I had emailed her back a question on Monday and never recieved a response (had nothing to do with this shipment). Friday I still had not heard from her so I sent her an email touching base and that I had another seller get some wierd name from paypal I was making sure that she had the right name and address. So I hve not heard from her again. So my question to you ladies how long is a reasonable amount of time before I email her again? I know Friday to Monday is not long but I am just frustrated because it was supposed to be sent out last week and she has yet to let me know if that happened or not.

We will have our first day in the parks on Sunday. We are going to Hollywood Studios the first day, MK on Monday, Epcot Tuesday and the rest is kids choice!
