Package deposit requirement questions

I am almost ready to make our package reservation. I think I remember reading here that CRO, WDTC and DC have different deposit requirements and different pay in full by dates correct?

The main question I have is about the WDW website travel planner.
If I key in all my package component choices w/airfare and receive the online quote, it tells me that my deposit is 200.00.

Last yr, I booked on the phone with WDTC (DC) and they required me to pay our airfare upfront (about 900.00).

Are you always required to pay the airfare portion upfront ?
Is booking onine different, and has anyone out there booked online?

Did not book online but have package through WDTC.
Deposit was $200.00-Full payment due 45 days prior to check in.

I think all this is per the terms and conditions on the online booking page-seems to be exactly what we ended up doing.
