We are going to Disney in March for a week. We are staying at POFQ. My kids are 4 and 2. I think we will all sleep better if my 2 year old sleeps alone in a pack n play. Do we need to bring ours or can we request one from our Disney Resort? Does it cost any extra? THanks for any help you can give me.

You can just request one from mousekeeping and there is no charge :) They'll bring it to your room along with a sheet or two. Lucky you, you must have a still sleeper - my DS was too active a sleeper for a Pnp at around 16 months - woke himself up numerous times a night by flopping into the sides. We rented a crib for trips after that before he was big enough for a kids aero bed (which we travel with now) And I totally agree that everyone sleeps better with their own space :thumbsup2

ETA: you can just call mousekeeping after you check in, no need to call ahead or anything.

Have a great trip!

She is a good sleeper , but we would get NO sleep if she slept in a bed with one of us. We have one of those "blow up" beds for kids, but they are actually quite noisy if they move around and I think the pack n play will help keep her contained....it will be interesting all of us sleeping in one room!!!

We requested one in advance and it was waiting for us in our room when we got there!

You didn't ask for this info but we're renting a crib from A Baby's Best Friend for our visit in May. They also have toddler beds and a bunch of other stuff if you're interested. The website is www.abbf.com. This will be our first time renting from them but read about them on this forum.

I love the aero bed for toddlers :) The beds are too small at the mods. When we stayed at POFQ in 05, DH and I had to sleep in separate beds bacuse a double is just toooo small, keep the kids in the p&p and the aero bed and give yourself the room, you will need good sleep:) The aero bed for toddlers will be with you and usefull SOOOOO long. We used ours at Disney in November and at Grandpas house in October - SO worth the $100! We has a 1bdr at okw and still used the aero bed:) It does not make noise and has it own pump, plush cover and tote:) Oh yah, it has raised sides too.

I think Amazon has it for about $90....

Here is my Jake sleeping in it at OKW :)

We rent from ABBF all the time and everything is always wonderful. They are the best!

We used to request a pack n play longer after my son slept in his toddler bed. It was great, I would ask when making reservations, then at check in, seldomly was it in the room and we had several instances where 3 phone calls and 9 hours later it still wasn't there, but did always get one. Cute mickey sheets, although I brought my own (not sure why! but always did). I loved that it was an easy way to get my son to calm down, I just put him in with a toy or two and told him it was bed time. Worked great. I can't sleep with him in my bed no matter what! Keeps me awake! I did hear him roll over a few times but nothing major.

Is the aero toddler bed the same size as a regular toddler bed? Sounds like something we could have used a few times. My son is 4 now though, so probably too big?

We are going in April with our 14 month old twins. My worst fear is that when we get there we will be told that they don't have "two" PnP's available. Has anyone eer had a problem with their request for a PnP??

I never had a problem once there, I usually request beforehand but have forgotten or changed my mind once there. You don't see a ton of them in rooms so I don't think that people request them. And I am sure they have a HUGE supply and if needed could get from another resort.

My DD just turned 4 and I can't imagine her in a PnP. She grew out of her crib shortly after she turned 2. My DD1 won't sleep in a PnP - too uncomfortable. She just tosses and turns.

Congrats to those parents that have kids that like the PnP - they are so convienent and easy to set up.

When we booked our trip and they got the age of DS they offered a crib or pack n play depending on availabilty. When we paid everything off and they confirmed everything they once again mentioned that we had requested a PNP/crib .
