What do you do when you bring your pack and play on the plane? Do you check it in with luggage? Do you gate check it? Is it safe in the carry bag it comes with?

Where are you staying? We are staying at Pop Century in November. I asked about getting a crib for my granddaughter and they told me that the crib is a pack 'n play.

We're staying at AS Sports. Are the pack n plays clean? She puts her mouth on everything she can. I actually just read a post on here about the cribs/pack n plays at Pop and how new and clean they were vs. GF.

The first time we used a Disney pack-n-play, I brought sheets from home and bought a can of Lysol on the way to the resort. I just sprayed everything, since dd was 6 months old. The next time, I didn't even do that. The pack-n-plays looked clean to me. I personally don't think it is worth taking the pack-n-play- you run the risk of damage on the plane. The bag it comes in is flimsy. We took ours on a different trip where we didn't have a crib or pack-n-play and put it in a LLBean duffle and it ended up ripping the duffle during the flight. The feet of the Pack-n-play went through the end of the bag.
