Pacific Wharf Dining

They have served a loaded potato soup in the bread bowls before......it was heaven!!
I like the chicken burritos and occasionally the enchiladas at the Mexican place. It tastes exactly the same to me though (as Rancho del z).
I get the teriyaki chicken bowl at the Chinese place and it has been hit or miss for me.
I dont think you can go wrong at ghiradellis! We usually split a sundae or sometimes I get a coke float, yum!

The Carne Asada at the Mexican place is always yummy. The portions at the Chinese place aren't big enough for the price you pay IMO. And, of course the bread bowls are bomb!

We ate at Pacific Wharf Cafe a few weeks ago. I got mac and cheese in my bread bowl and it was yummy! My cousin had the broccoli cheddar soup and it was watery and tasted horrible! I don't know if it was a bad batch or their quality has gone down, but she doesn't want to eat there anymore.

I had the Chinese place once and thought it was tasty. My niece enjoys the food at the Mexican place!

So much fabulous feedback!! Thank you Disers!!

One expects squishyness at Disneyland to some extent so I'm cool with that. If you see a pair of redheads who are mom/daughter feel free to talk off our ears! :chat:

Well, with my AP pass, I plan on being there in Nov, March, May, Sept and next Nov. So I'll be on the lookout while I'm shoveling down some clam chowder!!!! Man, I'm starting to get a really bad craving for that good stuff.

FYI, for those of you who can't finish the entire soup in bread bowl and hate to throw away the bread, you can request that the soup be put into a bowl. They will still give you the bread bowl. Sometimes we'll do it this way and take the bread to go and snack for later in the day.

Another vote for the cheddar ale soup in the bread bowl! My daughter and I both enjoyed it so much that we chose to have again for our final meal in the parks on our last trip!

I have always loved the broccoli cheddar soup but didn't know about the cheddar ale soup - is it at the same place? Maybe it's new? That sounds awesome.

I might be wrong about the location, but I believe the cheddar ale soup was a seasonal item announced for Halloween if I remember correctly. I may have just assumed that it's at pacific wharf. I might have to go back and find the blog post because I do want to try it on my upcoming trip.

Usually we go at Christmas, so maybe that's why I've never seen it. We are going in October this year so I will keep my eyes open for it - thanks!

The bread bowls at Pacific Wharf café are very good. Especially the chicken pot pie the serve around Christmas. It is phenomenal. At The Lucky Fortune the chicken teriyaki is really good. Pretty healthy food for the park. But my wife and I don't really care for the Mexican place there. We feel Rancho Del Zocalo at Dland is much better for Mexican food. And also don't forget Rita's Margaritas stand right next to the Lucky Fortune cookery. It is fantastic.

I think the food is pretty similar betwen the two Mexican food places. We prefer Rancho because it's so pretty and they have fresh brewed iced tea. But, you can pair your Mexican food with a marg or beer at DCA. Either way it's a good, filling meal. 8-)
