Still haven't heard back on the loan, but DH called this morning and they said they should know tomorrow and not to worry, everything should go through just fine.

So, we're having our house inspected THIS AFTERNOON!! The salesguys said they'd like the inspection to be 5 days prior to our introduction walk-through, which means *today*.

So I'll be leaving for the house in 3 hours!

Isn't buying a house fun?!

Don't worry, even if there are problems, there are always solutions. In a few weeks it will all be behind you and you will be living in your brand new home!

I hope that you got a good inspector. With new construction, this is normally not a problem. We found several things that had to be repaired on our house a couple of years ago.

Good luck on the loan. Going through the builder's loan company should help but you may not get the best deal on rate or points.
