Hi everyone!
My sister(cvemom) and I have been asking for P and PD for my mom as she has been going through a loss of vision since the spring and some "spells" which may be mini strokes. She continues to refuse any help but now it's us who need your prayers. She insists that my dad can take care of her. He is doing all that he can but can't for much longer. I am the number one @#^^#% as far as everything goes. There is nothing I can say that will do any good.
Any P and PD and advice would be appreciated.
Sandy
Thanks for the continued P and PD.
Finally had to get her to the hospital today in the middle of the night. She was madder than a hornet...really a million hornets! On top of that the hospital has been a comedy(NOT) of errors. After 4 of us sitting in the ER for over 7 hours (she was so mad, she or the nurse sent us all out) we asked to see her and first they had no record, then said she must have been discharged, then a nurse said "Oh, she was been admitted over an hour ago. Didn't someone come out and tell you?" When we went upstairs they said that ER said they tried to tell us but we weren't there and told her that we must had gone home.
At least they finally admitted her and her doctor should see her Monday. She ate something late today and is hopefully resting. They say they see no evidence of a stroke (do mini strokes show up?). I hope that they will run other tests.
Thanks again! We still have a long hard road ahead.
