I have just purchased tix for the Pirate and Princess Party on Feb. 1st. We are planning to visit Animal Kingdom that day during the day and we are not planning on paying for the park-hopper option. Am I correct to assume that the very high priced special event ticket includes actual park admission to MK that night??? Thanks for helping!

yes. if you buy the ticket for the party then you can go into the park no problem after the time the party starts:)

I have tickets for the feb 1st party also. DFH surprised me with them for our first arrival night there to attend the party. It's our Honeymoon and first time there. I have been reading on the boards that the MNSSHP, and MVMCP maybe letting people who do not have tickets stay in the park. When he ordered our tickets we asked the very nice lady at Disney Travel about if this was a limited engagement meaning only a limited number of tickets sold she said yes only so many tickets per party. We grabbed ours, but now with the talks of they may allow people without tickets to stay inside the park but not allowed to ride without the wristband is kind of well frosting my cookies. This is a new party new event and at about 40 bucks a pop and the party starting at 7:30 I feel only the ones who paid to get into the park should be allowed in. I don't mean to sound rude, but I would have rather him not pay that price if anyone can get in you just can't ride well heck we have park hoppers and can ride at any other time without having to pay the price just to ride if everyone else is going to be able to join into the party with or without tickets. This has no been confirmed, but from the talks on the MNSSHP, MVMCP are doing that then I bet this one will to. :bride:

This also has me concerned LostGirlz. We will be there for the first party on January 22nd. I really hope the CMs will clear the park of guests that don't have P&P tickets. It would not be fair for those of us that purchased tickets. On the bright side of things, January & February will be less crowded times, so maybe that will help.

I read that they will be closing the park at 6pm or 6:30 the days of the parties, so it sounds like they would have everyone out.

I am having faith in Disney that they will not allow this. The park is closing at 7pm on the date of my p and P Party and the Party officially starts at 7:30. Those who go before us, please fill us in!

I just call about the P&P Party and was told we would need two tickets, one for park admission and one for the party, even if we plan to enter after the park has closed. Is this correct? :confused3

Oh no! Who did you call? How can this even be the case when the party is so expensive and the park is closed to others during it??? I really do not want 8 of us to have to add park hopper option just for this!

That is not correct. The party ticket is valid for Party admission: at a minimum, you will be able to get into MK at 7:30 with only a P&P ticet.

In the past, party guests have been allowed in a few hours before "official" start, without using a day from their "regular" admission media, as a courtesy. There is not yet been confirmation that this will continue this year. I believe it is very likely that some form of unofficial early entry will continue, if only to regulate the crowds in the (rather small) MK Entry Plaza.
