Oxyclean worked to clean my car's upholstery!!

Just wanted to let ya'll know. I used 1/4 cup of oxyclean and 16 oz hot water and a scrub brush. Had to do the treatment two times but my car now looks great and I'm going to ban the kids from eating in the car

hmmm, I didn't think of that but it is dry and maybe I should vacuum the seats....I don't think I need to rinse.

Also, when the seats dried completely, they looked cleaner than when they were wet with the solution....it was amazing how the stains disappeared..

Our car has light grey seats that stain when you spill water on it. And since I have three kids alot more than water gets on those seats. Now I know to never buy a car with light interior again.

I will try this and hopefully it will help.

Love, love, love Oxyclean. I use it for lots of stuff. Best of all, it's the only think I have found that actually gets my shower clean. You know, those cheap, crappy plastic shower stalls with the glass doors that to me are impossible to clean. I make a paste of Oxyclean and use a sponge with the green rough stuff on one side and scrub away.

It also works great on carpeting! We (actually my DH) just tried it. He added some along with the regular cleaner we used and it made a big difference. I did vaccum the carpets after they dried.

Try it first...I spilled coffee in my van (3 months old) and used Oxyclean. It bleached the tan carpeting. I have used Spot Shot on the carpet inside as well as car and it has done a great job.

Another really good upholstry/carpet cleaner is Tech. DH bought it at Ace hardware for me.
