Folks,

I wanted to put the word out that owners of one of the companies that rents trailers at the Fort (the pop-ups) are retiring and they are not taking reservations after April 2016.

The pop-up approach was the least expensive way of renting a trailer and having a roof over your head at the Fort (so to speak). As a long time pop-up owner, I appreciate them having offered this approach.

It also represents a business opportunity if someone is interested. They have a good number of bookings between now and year's end.

PS - I don't know when this announcement was made but wanted folks to know...

I talked with that guy the other day while I was setting up, he was setting up a popup next to me.. Nice guy

Wish I lived near there and had the opportunity. I really think I would enjoy that kind of a business.

Curtis announced their retirement on Facebook earlier this year. We've rented from them three times, and hopefully will again next year before they're done. They have been great to work with. Hard to beat a pop-up in terms of value for dollars spent.

Oh, no, we were so looking forward to renting from them next summer! I really hope someone buys the business and keeps it going (or that I could talk DH into moving and doing so ourselves ;)...)

We are renting from them next month our first time at the fort and kids first visit can't wait.I'm so glad we will get to rent from them there is no way I was paying what Disney wants for a family of 6 their price is a wonderful value!

It is a great value. I think they were selling off their campers individually. My guess is they're already spoken for. My DW and I considered buying a popup in Orlando and keeping it there just for DW, however storage lot prices are too high in the area. There are other RV rental vendors that do pop-ups, fortunately.
