Cooking Owl and Billiard Ball Cupcakes

Hi, just wanted to post some cupcakes I made from "Hello, Cupcake" and "What's New Cupcake?"

I made these today for a Family Game Night at my DS

I made these in Sept. for DD's 11th birthday. She loves owls. This was just part of the flock!

Thanks! The second I saw the owls in the book I knew I had to make them (as a surprise too!). I've seen other owls but really thought these look so good. I think the cashew beak makes them.

They were so easy to make. The book called for white Necco wafers for the eyes but I couldn't find any. I made up a small batch of white fondant and it worked out great. Then I had extra leftver which I used for the billiard balls.
