Hi everyone!

We have the unbelievable opportunity to stay at the OKW in a 2BDR in October. We are going for a quick weekend trip for the MNSSHP

Can anyone provide me with tips, advice, any info at all on OKW? We have stayed at BC, WL, AKL, POFQ, and Pop but this is a first for a DVC.

You will love the space in an OKW 2 bedroom. It's our accommodation of choice at WDW and DVC. The living room/kitchen area is the largest in WDW, and the kitchen and laundry appliances are full sized. There is a seperate laundry room in the unit, and the master bath is actually two rooms in one with a pedestal sink and large corner whirlpool bath in one room, and the shower, sink/vanity, and toilet in the other room. There is a full double closet and a king sized bed. Also, the master has a seperate door onto the HUGE balcony/patio. Speaking of the patio, it has a table and 4 chairs on it and has a ceiling fan above. The living room has both a queen sized hide-a-bed and a love seat as well as a large round dining table and occational chair and ottoman. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds, a large bath, plus an extra sink outside the bath area and a large closet.

OKW is like a spread out neighborhood of vacation townhomes. Each building is 2-3 stories and will include 1 bedroom/studio lock offs, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom villas that are walk ups or walk ins from the parking are right outside your door. This gives a nice secluded vacation home feel IMO.

There are 3 neighborhood pools on site, and a larger main pool that has a new sand castle slide. Each pool area includes a childs play area and a laundry for those who are staying in the studios (full size villas have their laundry room in the villa).

Bus service is excellent to all the parks, and there are 5 bus stops located throughout the resort.

Here is the floor plan of a 2 bedroom. The DVC website lists it as being 1,395 squre feet.

The 2-bedroom at OKW is my favorite configuration! I think you will enjoy it! Very spacious; plenty of room to spread out!

OKW has different "neighborhood" areas and each has a bus stop and pool with hot tub. The pool on Old Turtle Pond Road has a snackbar (open seasonally). The restaurant is Olivia's, which has great food and service with a homey atmosphere. There is a general store which sells basic food supplies and souvenirs.

My mom asked me this question earlier this evening and I had to tell her I actually had no idea.

Does anyone know if there is more than 1 TV in the 2BR villa?

Not that we'll have a whole lot of time but still just wondering

There are actually three Televisions in the 2br villa. One in the master bedroom, 1 in the living rooo\kitchen area and one in the second bedroom.

LOL, and everyone will want to watch the one in the living room because it's bigger! The best part is that full size laundry room at OKW 2 bedroom units. We pack VERY light and do a load of laundry each day.....LOVE that feature!
