Overwhelmed with planning our first trip in SoCal and DLR in April 2018

Let say I change my reservation in Anaheim 4 to 5 nights, where would you stay if you were me?...
Current: Best Western Anaheim Inn 207$/night (for 4 nights but price per night for 5 nights is the same)

Howard Johnson 269$/night
Best Western Park Place In 229$/night
Camelot 218$/night
Homewood Suites 274$/night
Tropicana 199$/night

My vote: BWPPI for the location alone. Can't beat the proximity to the parks. Second choice for me would be the Homewood Suites because having a bit more room can be a real plus on a longer stay.

Let say I change my reservation in Anaheim 4 to 5 nights, where would you stay if you were me? An adult-only trip (me and DH) and we have a rental car we need to park in a secure parking lot. We don't care about room size, pool and even breakfast since I will be in the parks our whole stay.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and I included the parking fees in it...

Bwppi if there's a chance you'll eat breakfast. Otherwise camelot inn would be my choice.

I don't remember why she didn't like the bw Anaheim. But she was comparing it with. Bwppi. Lower quality overall I guess.
