overnight in NC off I95?

Hey gang you gave me some great reccommendations for places to stay on SC for our drive down.

But how about going home? Can you all reccommend someplace to stay farther north like in NC?

Consider this:
If you are thinking of stopping North of SC, not that any fuel purchase will be highest $$ in NC. VA & SC both offer better gas prices.

I don't know if it is too far north but there are tons of hotels in Rocky Mount NC.

We've stopped overnight in Lumberton, NC (just north of the SC/NC border) on our way to Kiawah Island. Can't remember the exact hotels, but there are many to choose from.
