Need some help. Both bags look great. My questions are how much can you actually fit in the Overland Donner bag and is the strap comfortable after a long day in the parks? I noticed the strap is not padded.

The overland bag looks great and very organized but I am not sure I will be able to fit all of our stuff in it.

The L.L. bean turbo sling appears that it will fit all our stuff just not as organized. It also has a nice padded strap.

Plan on carrying: digital camera, sunscreen, tickets, 2 auto books, pens, epcot passport, water bottles, money, and hopefully a change of shorts for 4year old (in case of an accident).

Cany anyone who has one or both of these bags let me know what you like/dislike and how much stuff you can fit in them.

thanks for your help!

I ordered the Donner. It seems like each bag has its plusses and minuses. The LL Bean bag Has the padded strap but no where to put bottles water. The Donner bag has places to put bottles water and is very organized but lacks the padded strap. And neither are waterproof. Mine should be here in a couple of days and I can let you know about the size. Right now you can get free shipping and no tax at Bagsbuy.com and if you buy crocs (with the 10.00 off coupon) at shoebuy.com you can get a 10.00 off coupon off at Bagsbuy.com. It's a win win.

I got my Donner bag delivered today and I cant tell you how mych I love it!!!! It is perfect! I have already started loading it for our upcoming trip. The strap isn't at all uncomfortable. I put it across my chest. Hope that helps a little.

I like the look of the LL Bean bag and I prefer that sling type bag to a messenger type bag. I vote for the Bean bag!

jemma28,

How much stuff have you been able to get in that bag!? Just wondering what you plan to put in there.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am still undecided but I have to figure it out quick we leave in a couple of weeks!

It's large enough to hold two bottles of water, camaras, rain ponchos, sunglasses, park maps, my Unnofficial Guide to Disney, sunscreen, keys, money, with plenty of room to spare for snacks, baseball caps or even a change of clothes for my little one if needed. Although I think I am just going to bring along dry socks for everybody each day. It will hold pens and autograph books with easy access to them and a zippered pouch for change or credit cards.

Hope that helps!

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to say I got a Donner for our trip in March. I used it in WDW and absolutely loved it. I carried a bottle of water, a baby bottle, wipes, diaper, eyeglasses, sunglasses, DS hat, chap stick, credit cards, money, and purell. It was a great bag, there was a recent thread on the 'Tips' board all about the Donner.

:cheer2: Best travel bag I have ever used!:cheer2:

I just purchased a messenger bag from Timbuk2, I've heard great things about them so this is coming with me instead of my back pack.

Mine is brown I did the build your own option so I guess you could go all lime green
