Hi! Would love your answers regarding the policy on the use of the overflow parking in the Fort. How far in advance (i.e. days) may a rig be parked at the parking lot prior to actual ressie date?
We are leaving on Nov. 4th and plan to use Nov.5th to head on over to Sea World (DD 6 is loving dolphins!) prior to our check-in date of Nov. 6th. Can we park in the overflow lot for the nights of Nov.4 & Nov. 5 or do we need to make other arrangements?
thanks for your help (in advance)! I love the wealth of WDW knowledge here!!

You didn't mention where you would be staying while the camper is at the fort lot. Are you planning on being in it? If you're at another resort on Disney property I'm sure they would let you but not if you're offsite. You need a parking permit posted on the camper if you do leave it there.

If you're not staying onsite and need a place Turkey Lake over near Universal charges $5 a day for storage or $15 a night for hookup. (407) 299-5581.

oh my, you might want to call the front desk and make arrangements for that one...

I'm not sure whether you can do that or not...best to get a manager and get it from the source...

I know they won't let you sleep overnight in the camper on the overflow lot...

Ahhh...thank you. We have no clue regarding the overflow rules. We actually need a place to stay in camper overnight 2 nights. So I am assuming that we will need to look into the Turkey Lake place for ressies there. Thanks so much!!!
Really appreciate the help!!!

We arrived early one night before our reservations and parked in the overflow lot, however, my parents were staying in the cabins and meeting us there. We were staying in the cabins with them that night and had their parking pass. No sooner than 3 minutes of us parking was a security guard tapping on the window of the coach wanting us out of the coach and telling us we could not sleep over in the overflow lot. He waited there until my parents came and got us to take us to the cabins and showed him the parking pass that was to be in the coach. Go to Turkey Lake, it is much simpler.

We were ahead of schedule last Nov (coming from NH) and pulled into the area a day early. Called FW when we were a few hours away and asked if we could park in overflow overnight because a friend had told us it was possible in the past.

Nope. No such luck.

Oh and btw, if anyone is thinking of trying to hit a Walmart overnight anywhere near WDW/Orlando - forget it. We found out that there is a county ordinance that forbids ALL overnight parking in ANY Walmart anywhere in that part of the world. We called a bunch - even as much as 40 minutes away - and no luck. Oh and that includes the Walmart in Kissimmee with the auxiliary lot that is designated specifically for RVs. :confused3

We ended up overnight in a nice, quiet camground just off the main drag in Kissimmee for the night (only about 10 minutes away).

As stated earlier, NOPE. How about just adding those two days?
