Truthfully, sometimes I have to stop and think about it too otherwise my fingers get all crazy and it comes out looking something like Tinkerberellerabba.

Sneezie, I'd completely forgotten you lived in Louisiana. In fact, I had to go back and skim the first section of your TR after I read your post. We're practically neighbors, woman. And freaky evacuation borg. Glad to know you're okay and I hope you didn't come back home to any damage. Depending on where you went to ride it out, I may have actually run into you. Or passed you at some point.

Just out of curiosity, how do you feel about Fudge Rounds? Cosmic brownies?

That's right La, I'm from the big La - or LA (if you want to be postally correct). Everyone is fine and we didn't come back to much damage. A few shingles were liberated from my roof but that's about it. I have my parents and an aunt with me now until their power is restored - which they hope is today.

We didn't "evacuate" in the true sense of the word. We were headed to Dallas to visit my brother for the Labor Day weekend anyway and just "extended" our visit to encompass Gustav's arrival. It wasn't too bad, but there's no place like home.

I absolutely love Fudge Rounds. Cosmic Brownies - not so much

Anybody in the market for four battery operated fans?

Sneezie, Cosmic Brownies rock. But you're right about one thing. There is no place like home. Unless, of course, home includes a king size pillowtop mattress (formerly known simply as The Bomb) with projectile vomit splashed across it.

Not that that's ever happened to us.

More than once within the last few days.

As a side note: it's amazing what Oxi Clean, baking soda and roughly fifty three other cleaning products can do for a mattress.

My BF watching Bama highlights last night during halftime of the Florida game. I sighed. He asked me what was wrong. I said, "ZZUB so needs to write another trip report." Had my camera been handy, I'd have snapped a pic of his face. He just shook his head and didn't even bother to ask what a "zeezub" was.

I think I woke up single.
