Hey! I'm hopping on as well! Gotta try to keep up with some reports from my fellow Louisianians!
I hear you about the boring drive on I-10. It seems so long from city to city. Once you pass Pensacola, the drive to Tallahassee seems to be forever.
I'll be sure to keep the volunteers in Haiti in my rayers. I'm happy to hear they have gotten some sort of word out to let others know they are okay.
I look forward to hearing more! Yall will be arriving as we are leaving.
Hey fellow Louisiana resident! I'm glad that you decided to join in.
Don't ya just hate that drive. It's so very very boring!
The prayers are still needed. They haven't been able to leave Haiti like they thought they would. Apparently, they won't be leaving until Thursday....a week later than they thought.
Things are getting better daily. As you know it was not a good end to 2009.
Taking your mom to disney will be fun. Our trip in December 09 we took my mom and it was a fun though I think we wore her out.
Our church was within days of sending a group down to Haiti. They recieved word yesterday that the orphanage and missionary that we support are ok.
Brian, I am glad to hear from you. I know that 2009 ended badly for your family. But, I also know that you are glad that your dad is in a better place now.
I know for a fact that we are going to wear my mama out. She's already thinking about renting a
scooter and we aren't even there yet.
It would be so great if we were going the exact same days. We could meet up the day ya'll were leaving P'cola or Crestview and drive down caravan like

. That would be so much fun. I need to set my PTR up like you do yours.
Wouldn't that be a fun time!
Good morning! Lisa
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I did like you do this weekend and did not touch the computer...thought I would have major withdrawals

but I lived

but, now I'm trying to catch up...
do you work today?!? or are you enjoying a day with Hunter?!?
have a great day!

Connie
I went to work today but we only had two phone calls by 11:00 a.m. So, we shut it down around 11:30 or so.
I spent the rest of the day catching up reading my subscribed trip reports, cleaning the dog kennel and played outside with Hunter and Oddball. John's brother came in last and will leave tomorrow morning. He is a pastor in Meridian, Mississippi but has a rental home here in Louisiana. The water lines were messed up and he had to come work on them. So, John spent all day digging in the mud.
Hey, I have a question for you! Without paying for a preferred location, do you know what building would be the best to request?
Are all rooms in Martinique buildings 24, 25 and 26 preferred views?
Thanks so much!
Martinique buildings 24, 25 and 26 are all preferred locations. We were given a free upgrade to Martinique 26 this past trip and it took us, maybe, 2 minutes to walk to Old Port Royale.
Martinique 21, 22 and 23 are non-preferred locations and are all pretty close to Old Port Royale with 22 being the closest. Jamaica building 45 and Aruba 51 and 52 are all close to the bridge that crosses over to Old Port Royale.
