I think I am finally going to book an Alaskan cruise for 2027 after many years of using this forum. It's a milestone year! I'm debating on the 8 night since it includes Sitka but my budget won't stretch for a veranda. Can anyone recommend an OV room on deck 2? It will be 3 adults ( self, husband & adult DD).TIA!

We have done both of our Alaska cruises on deck two, the last one in an inside. We personally feel that it is better to be able to go from one side of the ship to the other to experience the beauty of Alaska. We just did the 8 night last September...worth the extra day! We usually stay in one of the rooms just a bit in front of the elevator lobby on the port side.

When our kids were young I always felt windows were safer. We would stay on deck 2, just forward of the aft elevators, port side.
It was quiet and convenient to the laundry room if that matters to you.
We could feel the side thrusters vibrate when docking but later discovered that we feel it no matter where we are.

I’ve been in 2504 (for Alaska) and 2038 (Norwegian Fjords) and loved both rooms! 2504 has a little extra space which was nice.
