Outside the bubble

We are staying one night outside of the Disney bubble before our stay at OKW. We will be driving to Orlando from NJ and want a day to chill out, run to grocery store and swim for the kids. We have dinner planned at Margaritaville on City Walk that evening. Can anyone recommend any safe and clean hotel accommodations near WDW? Thank you for any input!

How about Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal? Since you are planning to do dinner in that area, it might save some drive time to stay in that area too. Their pool has a lazy river too!

I love Cabana Bay and the family suites come with a decent size mini refrigerator for cold stuff you might get at the store. But they aren’t cheap. If you are stocking up on cold items at the store, the Townplace Suites at Flamingo Crossings has a full size refrigerator option. But frankly, there are a ton of decent chain hotel in the areas!

Thank you for your input. I checked Cabana Bay and would rather not drop 250 a night unless absolutely necessary.
