Its been 4 years since my family and I have visited Disneyland. We always used to take in our own snacks (jerky, granola bars, etc) and water bottles. A friend just told me that you can't bring these items in anymore. Is this true?

The Disney website says they are not allowed but I'm sure I've read on here that people bring snacks!
Thanks!

You just can't bring coolers... those need to be left in the lockers outside the park to use in the picnic area.

To clarify, you can bring a small soft sided cooler in (we do every trip). It shouldn't be bigger than a 6 pack though. Anything on wheels, hardsided or larger wil be need to be left in the locker. As others have said, no glass or alcohol. Also, you may bring in sandwiches as long as they are already assembled; you may not bring in the fixings to put together later. We bring in snacks, drinks and even pb&j sandwiches.
