Las Vegas Outlet shopping in/near Vegas

Where is it? Is it any good?

Coming from Australia we'll be looking at pretty much outfitting our three boys for the next year Clothing and shoe prices are ridiculous here so we want to buy at least a couple of pairs of sneakers each for the boys and things like jeans, tshirts etc. My DH and I would also like some sports shoes and possibly soccer boots. Is there anywhere near Vegas we'll be able to shop for this? Or is it better to stop at the outlet place near Barstow on our drive to Anaheim?

There is 2 premium outlets in Vegas one North which we went to and one south by the airport.
the North one was excellent very big, DD spent quite a bit in ted hardy shop, which had some great bargains, should find everything you need there

There are two major outlet shopping malls in Las Vegas. They are Las Vegas Premium Outlets - North close to downtown and Las Vegas Premium Outlets - South closer to the airport in unincorporated Clark County (most of the Strip isn't in the city of Las Vegas proper, but that's a long story). They're owned by the same company (Simon Malls) and have a similar collection of store brands. The north one is outdoor while the south one is mostly indoor now. For the Disney fan, both have Disney Store Outlet while the south one has a store in their annex called Character Depot.

On I-15 on the way to Southern California there's the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas in Primm, Nevada almost at the border with California. They're got some really high end brands there, including Bally shoes and Fendi.

Yes; this is where we shopped last week! It's right on the strip, south of the hotels and near a timeshare. I found some great deals there; I didn't expect to buy anything. Happy shopping!
